Hansford County Hospital District’s Charge Nurse, Lexi McAnally RN, BSN, was recognized by The Panhandle Great 25 Nurses.

“We are so lucky to have Lexi McAnally on our team,” stated Blythe Boyd, RN, BSN, Chief Nursing officer HCHD. “She cares for every patient like family and inspires all of us with her commitment.”

This award is truly special because it’s being presented to me during a time that I have been fortunate enough to care for an entire community that watched me grow up and supported me for 18 years. Being recognized in this manner gives me hope that I have put my best foot forward each shift, because my hometown deserves that and more when they step into our hospital. I’m deeply appreciative to be recognized by my administration who are to be greatly admired themselves and to the committee that has selected me as a recipient for the Panhandle Great 25 Nurses. It’s an accomplishment I will forever be proud to have received.

The Panhandle Great 25 Nurses is an opportunity to recognize Registered Nurses from ALL practice areas for their contributions to the communities in which they live and practice both the art and science of nursing. The success of the past 5 annual recognition events has allowed the Great 25 committee to allocate $55,000 dollars in scholarships for nurses to continue to pursue and advance their education in the field of professional nursing and to provide healthcare to the citizens in their respective Panhandle communities.
