May 21 – 27 is EMS Week, a time to honor and celebrate the brave work of those on the front lines of medical emergencies.

EMS workers, including paramedics and emergency medical technicians (EMTs), are crucial for the health and safety of the Hansford community.

The work of our skilled and dedicated EMS workers is vital to Hansford County Hospital District’s ability to provide lifesaving care when it matters most. No matter the accident or nature of the emergency, Hansford County Hospital District EMS workers are always ready and able to provide timely aid.

Whether they are administering first aid to an accident victim or rushing a patient to the emergency room, EMS workers regularly provide excellent care in the face of uncertain and dire situations, contributing to the health and safety of everyone in our community.

EMS Week began in 1974 and is an important reminder of the vigilant EMS workers standing by to help keep our communities safe.
