Mark Garnett, D.O., FAAFP
Dr. Garnett serves as HCHD’s medical director. He joined our team in 2001.
A Spearman native, Dr. Garnett graduated from Spearman High School and went on to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and graduated with a BA in History. He attended medical school at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kanas City, Missouri. After graduating, he moved to Casper, Wyoming and completed his Family Practice Residency Program in 2001.
In 2011 Dr. Garnett received his Fellowship with the American Academy of Family Practice and is Board Certified in Family Practice.
Dr. Garnett takes care of all members of the family from age 1 day to end of life and speaks fluent Spanish as well as English.
He and his wife K.C have 5 children and love sports and the outdoors He is a current member of Spearman ISD Board of Directors and is active in Boy Scouts.
In 2007 Dr. Garnett was voted Hansford County Citizen of the Year.
